This temple of Marikamba Devi is one of the oldest temples in the town, which was built in 1688 AD by the villagers. Sirsi Marikamba Temple Jatra Mahotsava
Sirsi Shree Marikamba Devi Temple Jatra Mahotsava :- In Marikamba temple, Marikamba Jatre is held every two years in the month of March. During this grand festival, Marikamba Devi is taken from the temple to a place called ‘Marikamba Gadduge’ by the people on a chariot decorated with flowers and Marikamba Devi is kept at the same place for a week.
This festival is attended by a huge crowd of devotees and many types of religious and cultural programs are also organized in the temple during this Jatre.
