Malluru Narasimha Swamy Temple, also known as Hemachala Narasimha Swamy Temple is one of the most mysterious temples located at an altitude of 1,500 feet in Malluru, Warangal city of Telangana. You have to climb about 150 steps to see Narasimha Swamy. Inside the temple, there is a living statue of Narasimha Swamy, the fourth incarnation of Lord Vishnu.
The most mysterious thing about this temple is that Narasimha Swamy has hair like living humans on his chest, and the priests there say that the devotees feel Swami Ji as a living human body, if you touch the statue of Swami Ji with a finger, you can see the finger sinking into the rock without any obstruction, on removing the finger you can also see the gap formed due to the pressure on the statue.

The history of Malluru Narasimha Swamy Temple, which is about 4000 years old, is quite interesting and rich. It is believed that Sage Agastya named this hill as Hemchala. It is said that the demon Ravana gave this hill as a gift to his sister Shurpanakha. Hemchala hill is the same place where Ram ji killed about 14,000 to 15,000 demons including Paas Khar and Dushan.
