The Sun Temple is located in Konark, about 35 km from Puri district of Odisha. Spread over 2.62 acres, this magnificent temple was built by King Narasimhadeva in the 13th century and King Narasimhadeva was a great devotee of the Sun God, that is why he built this temple.
